Daea Marius

Bio

Marius Daea is a freelance investigative journalist with over 30 years of experience.

He began his career in journalism in 1993 and has since worked in radio, television, online and multimedia. He has worked on digital security, corruption, wildlife, environment, energy, European affairs, human trafficking, money laundering and trafficking in counterfeit goods. He has experience in cross-border collaborative investigations.

He holds a degree in International Relations and European Studies from Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is also a member of the Earth Journalism Network, Internews Europe and Clean Energy Wire.

He has studied a wide range of topics, including corruption in the Romanian government and the impact of climate change on wildlife. He has also collaborated on cross-border investigative projects with journalists from other countries.
