Ponzi Mario

Mario Ponzi, born in Parma in 1964, independent filmaker, attended the Cinema Academy "Open Studio" of Amsterdam. He won the TV Direction Prize CORERAT Liguria 1999 with the video I Persiani alla Fiumara, in collaboration with the Teatro della Tosse of Genova; the First Prize Section High Schools Works of the Multimedia International Contest of Pordenone 2002-2003 with the cartoon Jazz Souls, made with the Art School "Paolo Toschi". He recently shot the didactic documentary Sulle tracce delle Barricate. Vicende e protagonisti delle barricate antifasciste di Parma del 1922, with the participation, among the others, of writer Pino Cacucci. He is a teacher at the Art School "Paolo Toschi" in Parma, where he manage a Direction and Editing Laboratory for the Show Disciplines Class. He is responsible for production of cultural events for the Fondazione Culturale Edison.
