AMERICAN TRANSFIGURATION part two

It was my intention, admittedly presumptuous, to film a fresco about America, an America that had lost its faith in itself and had thus experienced and was still experiencing a lethal genetic mutation.

With this in mind I went to Iowa, one of the most conservative states in the

Union.

To my surprise I found myself immersed in a reality completely different than what I had imagined; and instead I had the opportunity to witness a transfiguration of American consciousness which, as such, had and still has every possibility of a spontaneous and organic regeneration.

I felt, in short, like a Martian who could positively affirm, "Well then, there still is life on Earth after all!"
