Synopsis

The film is an investigation on the effects of the historical and cultural transformations lived by Istanbul'''s inhabitants throughout the 20th century, thus staging on screen several stories told or performed by some representative subjects (an urban sociologist, a Kurdish student, a transvestite street vendor, ...) of this ever-changing city.
