Synopsis
Created specifically for the new Historical Museum of the Resistance in Sasso, the documentary tells, through the voices and faces of the witnesses, of the terrible Nazi-Fascist roundup that hit the municipality of Neviano Arduini and other municipalities in the province of Parma from 30 June to 1 July 1944.
Over five thousand Germans flanked by fascist units were looking for the partisans but found only civilians: elderly people or young people, women and children, in the operation called Wallenstein I, the civilian victims slaughtered by the Nazi-fascists were 64 (34 in the municipality of Neviano), entire villages burned, cattle raided, over 1,000 men deported to Germany.
