Peter Greenaway. A Map to Paradise

His documentary follows the master, cineaste, painter and versatile artist, during the preparation stages of the pictorial installation "A Map to Paradise" in Parma. Video shows the making of A Map to Paradise, its conceiving and material creation, while Greenaway's learned and wise voice accompanies the images, and reveals some of their meanings. Documentary ends at the disassembling phase, which is an important part of the artwork, as expressly chosen by the author: each and every "map to paradise", in fact, must be destroyed few weeks after its creation, and become only a memory.
