Synopsis
At the first lights of dawn, when the buses leave the bus depot and start out on the road, Medioli follows the new drivers step by step; in the traffic routine; through the offices in which the work is coordinated; between the welders busy in the machine shops and on the lot where they take the driving test. His documentary is a backstage where we meet the employees and discover their lives, the day to day job and the maintenance of the vehicles. 'We call it 'corriera' not 'pulman' in the mountains' one driver says. The camera climbs up the mountain roads, it squeezes through the narrows roads of the historic center, it collects memories and gives a voice to part of the Parma province. It is the story of passengers and drivers, drawn close by a shared space which becomes less and less anonymous as the minutes go by.
