Synopsis

The docu-film is suitable for an audience willing to listen, to read, to ruminate common thoughts on the always rhythmic thread of the adventures of Peppesmith in the role of Coppolino, cyclist by chance, struggling with a difficult undertaking with tragicomic traits but thanks to which he was able to enter the homes of friends and  relatives who live far away, scattered along the way and caught by surprise in their daily lives. 

The slogan of the trip is inspired by a maxim of Oscar Wilde: "The State must do useful things the individual the beautiful things".

The climax of the work revolves around the only question addressed to the people crossed during the journey: but you, beautiful in the life you have done?

The mission is the delivery of an official flag and symbols of the Phlegraean Fields to the President of the Sanremo Cyclists Federation in order to make it travel, as witnesses of a message in favor of the values of sport, at the end of a path in 14 stages from the Phlegraean Fields to Sanremo by bike.
