Iller Pattacini, living for music

The life and art of Iller Pattacini (1933). A journey that goes from the popular music of Emilia-Romagna (learnt from his father Tienno) to jazz music, and to the international experiences in France, Germany, and Switzerland. In the early 60s he went back to Italy to work as an art director for Ricordi. Pattacini has collaborated, both as a musician and as an orchestra conductor, with Battisti and with some of the most important Italian artists. At the age of 40 he retired and began playing popular music in his father’s orchestra again, just like he used to do at the very beginning of his career.
